3 Strangely Uncomfortable Things That Will Happen When You Are Called to Be a Leader
#1. Nothing ever works out

1. Nothing Ever Works Out
I talk to lots of people about their purpose on Earth. Some often feel like nothing works out for them no matter how hard they work. But when I talk to them more, I discover that they are meant for something much bigger than what they’ve been working so hard for.
A person may not know they are meant to do big things and so they go through life trying to figure out things on their own. They may try to get a job, start a business, or enter into a relationship only to find that nothing ever works out no matter how hard they work.
Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, things just don’t seem to fall into place. It’s kind of like trying to solve a puzzle with missing pieces. When this happens, it could be a sign that there’s a bigger plan for you.
You’re meant for so much more.
When you feel like you work hard but nothing ever works, it’s an invitation to seek guidance from the Source of your existence. This Source isn’t your parents.
When there is a calling on your life, the first thing to do isn’t to get to work. The first thing to do is to seek your Creator, the Source of your existence, who can reveal the plan for your life.
By first seeking a much higher power, putting your trust in this greater purpose, and allowing it to guide you, you will find that everything starts to come together.
You’ll see that it all starts to work out because you know the plan.
When you feel like nothing is working in your life, it could be because God is working in and on you.
When you allow this work to be done, that’s when things work out in ways you couldn’t have imagined.
2. You’re Isolated
I speak with many people who feel so alone and isolated that they cannot understand why. They’re tempted to think that something is wrong with them which is why no one’s there when they look around.
But nothing is as it seems.
As you step into your purpose, God is going to place you in a very long and excruciating period of isolation where you will learn many new things.
Being isolated can help you concentrate on God and learn to discern what he’s saying concerning your destiny. It helps you get rid of things that distract you.
The time alone in isolation prepares you to lead. You learn to rely on your inner wisdom during this uncomfortable time of preparation and to connect with the spiritual guidance that is always present. In isolation, you are able to connect with your higher self, a spark of the divine within you. Then you can discover how unique and powerful you are.
And most importantly, it is in isolation that you will be molded and set apart from those you’re called to lead.
Isolation is difficult and long, but it’s for very divine reasons.
See it as the peace and quiet before a beautiful sunrise where you can connect deeply with your own heart and spirit.
By surrendering to this solitude, you can find strength on your own, paving the way for the confident leadership that others will look up to.
3. You’re Having An Existential Crisis
The calling to leadership often prompts deep questions about the nature of life, purpose, and existence.
The reason people who are called into leadership usually experience an existential crisis and begin to question life is so they can seek the truth.
Much of the wisdom and knowledge that is circulating the world today is worldly wisdom. It is wisdom of men but when God calls you to lead his people, trust that he will want you to know his words inside and out.
This is why there’s the questioning phase and a divine curiosity where you begin to seek the truth about life and also about yourself.
When you begin to question your very existence, you eventually learn the truth of why you exist and what you’re meant to be doing.
Through this questioning, you learn godly wisdom and with that kind of wisdom, many truths and mysteries will be revealed to you that you did not know before.
It can be strangely unsettling being in a crisis, yet this discomfort can lead to spiritual and personal growth.
Asking questions with an open heart and mind can lead to a deeper understanding of your purpose and a deeper connection with spiritual truths. It’s through this questioning that you can find the wisdom to guide and inspire others.
When you question life, it’s like being a curious explorer in a vast, mysterious forest. It leads you to deeper spiritual insights. This questioning can illuminate your path, helping you understand the struggles and joys of others. It’s through these questions that you find the wisdom to comfort, guide, and inspire others who are also seeking their way. And that’s what makes a truly great leader of souls.
When you’re called to be a leader, these strangely uncomfortable feelings are not roadblocks, but rather stepping stones to extraordinary leadership.
When nothing ever works out, it’s because something within you is being worked on. Surrendering to solitude and finding peace in isolation helps you discover your inner strength and questioning the purpose of life leads to a deeper understanding of the world.
So do not fight or resist these challenges. Allow it to run its course.
Take it as a part of your spiritual training and development, for it will lead you to lead others lovingly with great power and authority.
When you allow this work to be done, that’s when things work out in ways you couldn’t have imagined.
