3 Steps To Monitor & Evaluate the Effectiveness & Impact Of Your Content
A Simple Checklist To Optimize Your Digital Products
Whether you are preparing to run an event, launch an ebook or publish a blog post, you need to have a plan to optimize your content.
Here is a simple, yet strategic 3-step process I follow on a daily basis when it comes to launching or publishing my content online.
Since using this method, it has become less of a hassle to publish content, while helping bring positive results in both increased engagement and exposure.
Before we get started, keep in mind that this is definitely not a ‘magic’ plan that promises to bring you unlimited engagement and free traffic, yet what it does, when used consistently is help you build a habit that will bring you consistent results and put you in the right track.
As stated earlier, you can apply it to whatever digital content, such as ebooks, workshops, courses, and even videos.
Step 1: Start with a goal
Begin with a clear goal in mind, for example, to get X# of visitors/sales or interaction for an event. Make sure to give your goal a deadline. If it is a big goal, break it into manageable mini-goals using the SMART method.
Step 2: Incorporate Digital Tools
Utilize your favorite digital tools that will help you to publish your digital product.
Step 3: Track & Monitor
Track your results using your favorite analytics tool and determine whether the goal has been met within the given timeframe. Through the use of digital tracking and marketing analysis, you are able to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of your digital product.
My favorite simple tracking and marketing analytic tools include Facebook analytics and Survey Monkey, which helps me both create and track the data of surveys and polls. You can use Google Analytics or any other analytics tool based on the social media site you are using to launch or post your digital creation.
Take-aways:
- Make sure to rinse and repeat.
- The tracking and monitoring process is an ongoing process.
- Be mindful of using the feedback to make simple changes to your product or post in order to improve and maximize your results.
