It’s great for those days when the heart feels like it’s been shattered into a million pieces and the pain is louder than the silent screech of suffering.

It shows a walk in a wilderness where there are miles and miles of dry sand and bones of dead things to bring you to your knees in fear.

But count to three and say a prayer. You may be down on your luck but you can breathe. You may be underwater but overjoyed. This song is like water for a thirsty soul. It baptizes you into the love of God without mentioning God’s name once!

It’s incredible to see such creativity.

It shows the fears that are present and before you know it, you’ve fallen down a pit struggling to get a song out. You’re fighting for your life and just when you thought it was over, resurrection day arrives. Like a caterpillar, you pierce the darkness and rise into another life. I love this song so much! This is a song that makes you appreciative and grateful. It connects you with the universe — the galaxy, the planets, the stars, the wind, the rocks, the oceans — and the creator of all those things.
