3 Short Notes For Your “Off Hours”, Weekends, Holidays and Vacation Leaves
Manage the noise
Cut out the noise, simple as that. Too much info can get crazy and exhausting really fast. Just be mindful of how you handle social media — from scrolling through news to chatting with your pals. No need to justify yourself to friends; the true ones get it. If the digital scene isn’t doing it for you anymore, hit mute, click unfollow, or smash that unsubscribe button. Keep it drama-free.
It is 100% okay to be selfish.
It’s totally cool to be a bit selfish, no judgment here. Don’t think everything you do has to save the world. When you’re off the clock, do stuff just for you. Mix up your habits and make sure they’re refreshing, good for the soul, and, of course, fun. You can’t spread good vibes if your own tank’s running on empty. Look out for number one — that’s you!
Take a break
Chill out, dude! Give yourself a break (a real break, i.e. at least once a week) now and then. To think, to write. Just like with work, your routines can kinda take over, you know? They might help you cope, but they can also drown out everything else. So, pause, and chat with yourself now and then, you’ll thank yourself later.
