Aiding and abetting vindictive and misleading reporting is grotesque. And silence constitutes a part of this.
Prince Harry’s comment about silence is related to the lack of response from The Palace about the hateful and misogynistic column by Jeremy Clarkson about Meghan Markle.
Personally, I think it is disgusting for a grown man to spout such vile hatred. It is equally disgusting for this hatred to be passed through an editing process and end up in print!
Following over 20,000 complaints, The Sun removed this piece, and Jeremy Clarkson issued an empty “it’s not me, it’s you” apology.
But Jeremy Clarkson is not alone!
He and his gaggle of fellow haters, including Piers Morgan, have shown the world their unhealthy obsession over Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
Piers Morgan is the Tweedledee to Jeremy Clarkson’s Tweedledum. It may not surprise you that both Tweedledee and Tweedledum are part of the Queen Consort’s circle! In fact, there’s even been some suggestion that the Queen Consort herself is controlling the strings of these 2 puppets!
Piers Morgan has written 14 negative articles about Meghan Markle in the last 12 months. His infatuation is peculiar, to say the least. This is the same Piers Morgan who walked off set on a morning TV show when Alex Beresford bravely challenged his behavior toward Meghan Markle.
Piers Morgan and his army of racist and sexist peers want you to hate Meghan and Harry. Heck, the rest of The Royal Family wants you to hate Meghan and Harry.
Meghan has been sacrificed and scapegoated for too long to protect others in the Royal Family.
She has been used as a detraction from sinister stories about other family members. The Royal Family have fed Meghan to the media dogs to protect their own and try and cover up stories of sex scandals, affairs, and sexual abuse.
Yes, Meghan and Harry are not perfect. No one is. The King and Queen Consort aren’t. Prince William and Kate aren’t. And we all know Prince Andrew isn’t.
It’s time to think for yourself.
Over the years, Harry and Meghan have been silenced. Stories have been fabricated and twisted. The bizarre relationship between The Royal Family and the tabloids has encouraged hate toward Harry and Meghan, based on what?
Jealousy!
The Harry and Meghan Netflix show is not an act of defiance. If the media continually spouted lies about you, would you not want to go on record and finally have a say on your own terms?
You can judge Meghan on the tripe you read in the tabloids. Or you can reset your mind to factory settings and be curious.
The sad thing is that the backfire effect comes into play here. The backfire effect is a cognitive bias that causes people to double down on their established beliefs.
When we are affected by the backfire effect, we seek information that aligns with our current beliefs and reject information with opposing views.
It’s ok to change your mind about Meghan and Harry. It is okay to recognize that the basis for your negative opinion is a made-up distraction.
If you are in a place of hatred toward Meghan, I hope you can find a more neutral position. You may even find empathy and compassion for all she has endured.
Forget about the divisive topics of abortion or women’s rights for a moment. The media has polarized the nation with their tales of these love birds. Where someone stands on the Harry and Meghan spectrum is the easiest way to gauge their stance on racism, equality, fairness, justice, and human rights.
3 points about Meghan Markle that the media don’t want you to know
Hate sells papers. Stirring up hate toward Meghan Markle suited the agenda of everyone involved. The tabloids have caused immense suffering to Meghan Markle and then exploited this suffering and served it as entertainment to the British public.
Here are 3 things the media don’t want you to know about Meghan Markle.
#1 She’s kind
Meghan is a genuinely kind individual.
Before she met Prince Harry, she devoted her spare time to working on women’s rights issues, including:
- World Vision
- The Myna Mahila Foundation
- One Young World
- United Nations
She considers the ethics of her food and tries to eat a plant-based diet where possible.
She is symbolic of Mahatma Gandhi’s empowering words.
“Be the change you want to see in the world.”
Her previous bodyguard refers to her as “a nice truthful person, she’s good-hearted, and she will go out and help anybody at any time.”
#2. She’s allowed agency over her news stories
There’s eye-rolling-inducing rhetoric regurgitated by haters along the lines of
“If Harry and Meghan left the UK to get away from the press, why don’t they just shut up and stop bringing attention to themselves.”
Ok, let’s talk about agency here.
Do you think it’s ok if someone barges in on you while you are standing in your underwear in a changing room? It’s not ok is it? Everyone knows this isn’t ok. It’s an invasion of privacy.
Yet, if you choose to wear trunks or a bikini on a beach, revealing the same amount of skin as in the changing room, does this remove your right to complain about someone barging in on you? No, it does not.
The difference here is agency.
Everyone has a right to privacy. And this right should be respected.
If I want to parade down the beach wearing a yellow polka dot bikini, that is my prerogative. It doesn’t give anyone the right to take this as an open invitation into my life and barge in on me in my private space.
I’d guess almost every single media outlet in the world has printed a story about Meghan. Some people have even written books about her without her consent. The tabloids have tirelessly pitted Meghan and Kate against each other, vilifying Meghan and lionizing Kate. It doesn’t need to be that way!
Remember, the paparazzi have Princess Diana’s blood on their hands. They will stop nothing to get their content.
Whether we like it or not, the media and the world will always be interested in Meghan and Harry. But Meghan and Harry are entitled to engage with the media if and when it suits them. They also have the right to privacy.
Meghan is perfectly entitled to publicity under her terms.
#3. She did not corrupt Harry
Oh, the outrage! How dare an American divorcee actor steal away the most eligible bachelor in the UK! And what cheek to then drag him back to her cave in America.
The media wants you to forget that Prince Harry has his own mind.
Prince Harry has endured a mountain of trauma in his life, all while being paraded in the public eye. Boarding school, divorced parents, and the death of his mother are cataclysmic events for any young child.
Before they even met, Prince Harry was already on his own journey of resisting the vibrations of the “institution”. When Harry found true love with Meghan, his instinct to protect and defend took over. He did not want history to repeat itself and for Meghan to face the same fate as his beloved mother.
Prince Harry was already on his own path. He has the kind and compassionate soul of his late mother. Meghan’s love gave him the courage to choose the life of a human being as opposed to that of a silenced pawn in a farcical game.
They are a couple who make decisions together.
Wish them well
Harry and Meghan married for love. They chose each other based on their feelings, not their CV.
Is this where the jealousy comes in? First from deep within the Royal Family and then spun out into the rest of the world through leaked stories and underhand comments.

We know Harry is donating money from proceeds from his book Spare, I may be wrong, but I don’t believe the tabloids ever donated any of the dirty money they made from writing trash about Meghan and Harry!
Remember, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not perfect; no one is. But they are living their truth and trying to do so with honesty and integrity.
