Abstract

The article "3 Reasons Why You’re Going Through a Waiting Season" explores the concept of waiting in life and suggests that it serves a deeper purpose. It outlines that waiting is not merely an idle activity but a crucial time for preparation and alignment with the universe's timing. The first reason for waiting is that the timing may not be right for the desired outcome, and pushing for it could lead to undesirable consequences. The second reason is personal unpreparedness; the universe may be using this time to ready you for what's to come. Lastly, waiting may be a sign of rerouting, where the universe is guiding you away from potential dangers towards a path that is more aligned with your destiny. The article encourages trust in the universe's guidance, akin to trusting a GPS, and suggests that waiting can ultimately lead to better opportunities and protection from unforeseen challenges.

1. The Timing Is Not Right

Waiting is one of the most difficult things to do, yet it involves doing nothing. It’s no fun sitting around doing nothing when there’s something you’d rather be doing, but waiting is a necessary skill to learn or life gets unnecessarily painful.

There’s a time and season for everything.

If things feel like it’s been slowed and isn’t coming to you easily, don’t push or force them. Take a step back. Understand that your life is already written and mapped out. You won’t stay behind a day and you won’t arrive a day sooner. You will arrive at the right time.

It may not be the right time to have the thing you want right now. The thing you want is not right for you.

If the person you’re waiting for isn’t right in their mind, they will be no good for you. Waiting a while will save you from what's not meant for you.

Maybe you’re being made to wait because the universe is preparing something better for you. Don’t settle for the next best. Wait for the best. Don't force something to happen when it's not the right time. Wait on divine timing.

Forced timing will bring tears to your eyes. Divine timing is guaranteed to take you by surprise and put a smile on your face.

2. You’re Not Ready

Sometimes you're made to wait because the thing you’re asking for isn’t ready. Other times, you aren’t ready for the thing you’re asking for. Maybe you're a hot mess right now. If you’re a mess, you’re guaranteed to mess things up.

The universe will make you wait to prepare and get you ready. When you rush to make it happen, you’re bound to mess it up.

The universe wants you to succeed, but it will be done at the right time. It knows what’s ahead and may make you wait to save you from life and its many attacks.

God can see the storm coming and may delay your steps to keep you safe. It’s important to remember this when all you’ve had to do is wait.

Waiting saves.

3. You Are Being Rerouted

Imagine being on an unfamiliar road trip with your GPS showing you where to go. You aren’t afraid of getting lost. You trust the GPS to get you home.

The universe, like the GPS, knows things you don’t know. Your GPS knows where there’s traffic. It knows all the roads that are blocked off. It knows where the road is closed.

You don’t always know these things.

When you go against your GPS, you may end up getting stuck in traffic with no way to exit. You may get lost.

When you get lost, your GPS always reroutes and gets you back on the right path, but the only problem is that rerouting sometimes adds minutes, hours, and even years to the time of arrival. Trust the universe to get you where you need to go and follow its guidance.

Your own guidance and understanding don’t go beyond what you can see. The universe knows and sees things you don’t yet know and see.

You may be made to wait because there’s a storm coming. You may be made to wait because there’s danger on the highway. You won't always see it. Don’t rush into the storm. Wait it out. Don’t drive into traffic. Sit and wait it out.

It's better to listen than to get lost. It’s better late than hurt. It’s better to wait than to be dead. It's better late than being stuck in a scary storm with no protection.

Trust your GPS to get you home. Trust the universe to lead you where you're meant to go.
