Summary

The article discusses the importance of patience in life, emphasizing that the universe may delay certain outcomes to ensure one's readiness, align with the right timing, and reroute paths for protection and better opportunities.

Abstract

The content of the website delves into the concept of patience as a vital life skill, suggesting that the universe often makes individuals wait for three primary reasons. Firstly, it acknowledges that individuals may not be ready for the next phase in life and waiting prepares them, preventing potential mistakes. Secondly, it posits that timing is crucial, and life's events are predetermined to occur at the most opportune moments, not necessarily when one desires. Lastly, the article compares the universe to a GPS, rerouting individuals when obstacles arise, ensuring safety and leading them to their destinations in due time. The overarching message is to trust in the universe's timing and to be patient, as better things may come to those who wait.

3 Reasons The Universe Makes You Wait

You're a mess and may mess things up

1. You Aren’t Ready

Waiting is one of the most difficult things to do, even though it involves doing nothing. It involves being still. Being still and doing nothing are some of the hardest things to do.

Waiting is a necessary skill to learn or life gets unnecessarily painful. You feel restless and helpless when you must wait and you can’t. When you have trouble waiting for your turn, you disrupt the order. You miss steps and skip lines. You fall down. When you rush, you make mistakes. You mess up and mess up the thing you were waiting for. When you wait, you have time to get yourself in order for when you are called.

When you rush into a new chapter of your life without taking time to read previous verses and messages, the story won't be very clear. You won't understand certain things and you may miss the message behind the story.

The universe wants to see and help you succeed, but it will be done at the right time and not when you feel ready. The universe can see the storm coming and may delay your flight to keep you safe. It's important to remember this when all you've had to do is wait. Waiting saves. The universe knows what's ahead and may make you wait to save you from life and its attacks.

Sometimes you wait because the thing you’re asking for isn’t ready. Other times you aren’t ready for the thing you’re asking for. If you’re being honest, you will find that you’re a mess. If you're a mess, you're guaranteed to mess things up. When you wait, you prepare. Trust in divine timing when it feels like life isn't moving forward.

The universe knows and sees what’s ahead and may make you wait to save you from life and its attacks.

2. The Timing Isn’t Right

Life moves on its own time. You don't control when time moves. Your timing may not be right. If the person you are waiting in line to see isn't in the right state of mind, they wouldn't be in the right state of mind to receive you. It's best if you gave them time to get themselves in order.

Life is already written and mapped out. You won't stay behind a day and you won't arrive a day sooner. You will arrive at the right time. If things feel like it's been slowed and isn’t coming to you easily, don't push it. Don't push forward when there’s something obviously blocking your path. Instead, work on removing the blocks.

Like a child in the universe, you don’t always know what’s best for you. A child must listen to his father because his father knows better. His father sees things his young eyes can’t see. Just because a father loves his child and would do anything to make them happy doesn’t mean he will take him swimming at the beach in the middle of winter because he really wants to swim. As a father, he knows it’s too cold out there, his son may get cold and catch a cold. He knows pneumonia is likely and it may be dangerous waters with the tides roaring.

There’s a time and season for everything and sometimes it’s just not the right time to have the thing you want. The father must be tough when he says no, not now. He makes his son wait till the sun comes back around to go to the beach and it's when he will have the most fun.

You will enjoy yourself when you wait till the season is right. When it’s the perfect weather to go to the beach. You must be calm waiting for the sun to return. The sun always returns to warm the waters. Practice being patient. Be calm while you wait for the tides to calm down. Wait for the right season when you're called to do what you were called to do.

There’s a time and season for everything and sometimes it’s just not the right time to have the thing you want.

3. You Are Being Rerouted

Imagine being on an unfamiliar road trip with your GPS showing you where to go. You aren't afraid of getting lost. You trust the GPS to get you home. The universe, like the GPS, knows things you don't know. Your GPS knows where there's traffic. It knows all the roads that are blocked off. It knows where the road is closed because there's an accident.

You don’t always know these things. You get stuck or lost when you follow your own wisdom and ignore divine guidance. Your own understanding doesn’t go beyond what you can see. You may not see the road ahead, but the universe can.

When you go against your GPS, you may end up getting stuck in traffic with no way to exit. The GPS is always there for you no matter how many times you don’t listen. When you get lost, your GPS always reroutes and gets you back on the right path. The universe reroutes and puts you back on the right road no matter how many wrong turns you make. But the only problem for you is that rerouting sometimes adds minutes, hours, and even years to the time of arrival.

The universe knows and sees things you don't yet know and see. You may be rerouted for your own protection. For your own safety. You may be made to wait because there’s a storm coming. The universe doesn't want you getting caught up in the storm. Don't run into a storm. Don't drive into traffic. Wait it out. It's better late than never. It's better late than hurt. It's better late than dead. Trust your GPS to get you where you need to be.

The universe reroutes and puts you back on the right road no matter how many wrong turns you make.

BONUS — Better is Coming

When you can’t wait; when you are starving for the thing you want, you have a choice. You can go for a quick fix. You can use the microwave. You can go through the drive-through and get something that makes your stomach turn or you can go inside the restaurant, sit down, and wait for your food to be prepared by a chef.

You can go for what it is you want on the drive-through menu right now or you can wait for the universe to prepare something delicious, something more healthy for you.

Sometimes the chef keeps you waiting because your order is not ready. When you remain patient, you wait on your food to simmer and come out to you perfectly made. When you rush your waitress, she rushes the chef who rushes your food. When you rush the universe, you rush the process and you don’t get the best.

Maybe you are being made to wait because the thing you want so badly is not the best thing for you. Maybe the universe is creating something better for you. Something that will be good to and for you. Don’t settle for the next best. Wait for the best. Don’t return to the old people and things in the past. Patience is a virtue. Practice being patient just to see what you get.

Observe the order of the universe. Observe how the time passes. Watch how the seasons change. Notice how nothing lasts forever and the sun always comes in the morning. Trust that what you asked and are waiting patiently for is coming. Wait for the right season. Trust in the divine’s perfect timing. Listen to the inner divine guidance and you’ll arrive where you need to go.
