3 Reasons Kindle Is Cost Effective Option For Reading

Than Smartphone/Tablet With Kindle App

I am an avid reader and read many books in a month. I read different books at different times of the day based on my mood.

I used to be a big fan of physical books. I like the smell and feel of the physical book.

But there are some limitations with physical books that they occupy so much space, you can’t read in dim light (like an e-reader).

Some years back I installed a Kindle app on my smartphone so that I could get an idea about the e-reader and get more reading done by utilizing my idle time.

As a mother, I have to spend a lot of my time sitting quietly beside my child till he is asleep at night. At that time, I prefer to read from my smartphone with the Kindle app instead of browsing social media.

When I am out and if I get some time, I prefer to read from the Kindle app on my smartphone (instead of wasting time on social media).

With the Kindle app on my smartphone, I get spoiled for choices like what to read as per my mood.

Later on, I got myself a basic Kindle device and I found that there are many benefits to reading on Kindle Devices than reading on a Smartphone/Tablet with the Kindle App. (Are you new to Kindle devices? Then click here)

Here are the benefits of reading on the Kindle device:

1. No Distraction:

While you read with the Kindle App on a smartphone or tablet you will constantly get notifications of the other installed app and your reading flow will get disturbed. Once you get a notification, you will be tempted to check it. And once you are gone to other apps then your reading is gone too.

2. Less Strain On Eye:

With a Kindle e-reader, you will feel like you are reading from a physical book. They took special care of readers while making these Kindle e-readers. Kindle devices use e-ink technology to give you a feel of the physical books. Thus your eyes will have no strain while reading from it. You can even read in a dim light or no light with a Kindle device.

3. Light Weight:

Unlike smartphones and tablets, Kindle devices are lightweight to hold. You can hold it for a long time without feeling pain in your hand. And easily carry it wherever you go.

Conclusion:

If you are an avid reader or want to become one then get yourself a Kindle device and get more reading done in your idle time.
