Technology has taken over our lives.

Virtually everyone in the world owns their own phone. How crazy is that?

Many uses include:

  • Social media
  • Taking pictures
  • Recording audio
  • Checking the stock market

But over phones don’t have to suck us in. Instead, we can and should choose to use them to our advantage.

Here are 3 reasons why I love my iPhone.

I Use It to Learn for Free

Nowadays, you don’t necessarily need to attend college. If the path isn’t for you, you probably still need to be educated.

You can do so my learning for free from your phone. I do it all of the time.

As a current senior at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, I’m almost ready to graduate. But sometimes I learn much more on my phone watching YouTube videos.

The app is free to use. However, you just use it correctly to earn an educational value.

You can learn so much like:

  • Investing
  • Personal finance
  • Earning passive income
  • Opening a business
  • Coding
  • Copywriting
  • Designing
  • And so much more.

All from the power of YouTube. You learn for free and then begin earning on your phone.

It Earns Me Money Every Day

We now live in a world in which you don’t need to rent out a shop or an office space to own a business. You can do so from the comfort of your own home, all on your phone.

Let me prove it to you.

There are so many ways today you can earn money all on your phone. Many include:

  • Medium
  • Vocal Media
  • E-commerce store
  • eBay
  • Robinhood investing
  • And so much more.

You don’t need to open up a storefront. You can earn money from these platforms and many other locations.

And all funds are direct deposited through your phone.

I have experience with both Medium and Vocal Media. I love the fact I can write articles for them on my phone, then earn money from them on my phone.

Most of it is passive income of course, but it works like magic. My phone isn’t just a communication device.

It’s a real money maker.

My Phone Helps Me Network

Medium isn’t just for writing. It’s also for communicating and networking with other fellow writers.

In terms of commenting on our stories and in Facebook groups, I’ve met tons of writers around the globe who share the same interests I do.

We’ve never met for coffee. We’ve never attended a seminar together. At the end of the day, we’ve read each other’s work and discussed many things that way.

All from the comfort of a phone.

I use my phone for apps like Twitter and LinkedIn to meet new people, build my network and expand my personal brand. This little device is introducing me to the world.

And I don’t plan on losing it anytime soon.

Closing Thoughts

Our phones are more than social media. Much, much more.

Spending time on those platforms is fine but when it begins to take over our lives, it’s time to start using our phones for good. You know, to better our lives.

These are the various ways I use my phone today and why I love doing so. It’s efficient and groundbreaking.

If you don’t already, take these tips into consideration. It may just be the first step in the life you want.
