3 Morning Routines that Changed My Life

For as long as I can remember the hardest thing for me has been getting up in the morning. Since I start work at 7 a.m., which includes a 40 minute drive, I had to get up at 5:30 a.m., which was unthinkable for me at first.
At the beginning I arrived at work and felt extremely tired throughout the day and my efficiency was very low, especially towards the end of the week when fatigue was accumulating.
So I had to find some routines to help and today I want to present you the 3 routines that I can say changed my life and the way I became more productive at work.
The first one is the cold water shower. Whether it’s the colder winter mornings or the summer mornings when the temperature is higher the first thing I wake up to is getting into the cold water shower. I spend about 3 minutes in the shower, although I can say that at first I don’t last more than 20 seconds and that’s with difficulty. Now after some time of doing this I can stay without any problems. The cold water shower first of all helps me to wake up better from sleep but it also makes me sleepy. From the cold water shower the blood circulation increases and then it gives you the energy boost you need.
The second routine is that after the shower I do at least 10 minutes of exercise, but light exercise whether it’s a few sit-ups or a walk on the stepper. During this time I open the window so that I can get some cool, fresh air. This gives me a second energy boost, thus managing to go to work feeling good and motivated.
The last routine and perhaps the most important change in my life was the time I drink my coffee. Before as soon as I woke up the first thing I did was to drink a coffee which was felt later in the day when by 2pm I was incredibly tired and couldn’t wait to go home. Now I drink my coffee just when I get to work which is about an hour and a half after waking up. This gives me incredible energy, I have become more focused and productive than ever before.
If you have the same problem with waking up in the morning I advise you to try these tips for a week and see if there is any change.
