You would think it's flowers being showered at you, but you will realize that those are not flowers but stones, only when you got hit.

There are three situations in life that you should be more heedful of.

A few years back, I worked on a project where late nights and weekend supports were usual.
A hectic one of all my projects until now.
Halfway through the project, a manager joined our account. A highly influencing person, he is, with his words.
He knows what and how to talk to influence others and get the work done.
Whenever he speaks to us, he makes us feel he is someone who supports us.
He praised us that we were good enough for the promotions, and he would get us one.
With the feeling of his support, we worked harder and crunched the items within the deadline. Some days, even we worked continuously until the next day morning.
Eventually, the project got over. And we all moved to different projects with no promotions.
Sugar-coated words are always sweet to listen to, but it has nothing other than sweetness.
Believe the one who speaks the reality, not someone who says what you want to hear.
Sensitive words can be misused.
Definition of emergency: a serious, unexpected, and often dangerous situation requiring immediate action.
But nowadays, many misuse the word emergency. They use it as a limp excuse.
For example:
In companies where workers message their supervisors that they are in an emergency so they can't attend the meeting.
Or, since they have emergency work, they will take off that day.
And the farce part is that they will use the word emergency more times in a month to escape from their duties.
For the supervisor, it is very delicate to oppose the request because of the sensitive word emergency used.
It's an emotive play.
To avoid being a victim of such a false act, it's better to interrogate if you feel someone uses sensitive words to make you act in favor of them.
Beauty is witchcraft that puts someone under a spell
An American talk show, Anderson Live, conducted a hidden camera experiment to explore beauty bias.
The team hired two actresses, Nicole and Joanna. Nicole was very sexy and exquisite, and Joanna looked ordinary with the choppy layered boy's haircut.
Look wise, Nicole was more beautiful than Joanna.
The task given to these two artists was to ask for help separately to get their flat tires fixed.
At the end of the experiment, three times the amount of men stopped to help Nicole when compared with Joanna and the average wait time for Nicole next to that flat tire was one-third of Joanna's.
Beauty is witchcraft that gives you pleasure, bewilders you, diverts your mind, quashes your listening skill, and finally induces you to act in favor of it.
That's why beauty is an important concept used in advertisements to help sell products.
So, don't judge a book by its cover. Be watchful.
