3 Apps That Seem Too Good to Be True (But Are Actually That Good)
The best 3 apps to help you save money, earn, and get valuable time back in your day.
Normally if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
That “buy now pay later” concept? Too good to be true. The Great Resignation? Too good to be true. Any lose weight or get-rich-quick scheme? Too good to be true.

But sometimes the Goldilocks principle of something being “just right” happens, and you want to scream it from the rooftops.
Well, I’ve found 3 of those for you in the form of apps. Specifically, I’m talking about:
- Libby
- Cynch
- Evidation
Libby

If you’ve ever communicated with me about books, I’ve likely talked your ear off about Libby.
Libby is a one-stop-shop for renting Kindle and audiobooks from your local library. And you never have to leave your home to use it! You can sign up for a library card and start reading immediately.
You can rent books for up to 21 days and place endless amounts of holds. I would never have reached 60 books last year without it.

Cynch

If you’re into grilling, this one’s for you.
Cynch is an at-home delivery and pick-up service for propane tanks. You don’t even have to interact with a human — you simply leave your empty tanks outside and new ones appear the next morning. The best part? For us at least, Cynch is cheaper than our local gas station.
Check out here if they’re available in your area yet.

Evidation

Do you like earning money for things you do every day anyway? I sure do.
Enter Evidation. You connect your fitness trackers and wearables to the app and earn points for moving, sleeping, and tracking food. You can earn extra points by filling out surveys and answering questions. Then every 10,000 points can be redeemed for $10 (and not some crappy gift card either, just ten straight dollars).
Sure, the downside is they are clearly selling your data in order to be able to pay you. But if you wear a wearable anyway, that data is already being sold without you taking a cut. I consider this a win.
Pro tip: you can connect multiple accounts and get double points for the same activity. I have my Garmin and Myfitnesspal connected, so every fitness activity I log gets counted twice.
