29 Questions I’ve Asked Myself Lately
Can you answer them?

Do odd questions pop into your mind? It happens to me too. Maybe it’s the result of wanting to see the truth about life. Or you could blame it on an overactive imagination. Nevertheless, I’m often left with a furrowed brow as I think about them. So here are a few wringers plucked from my abundant thoughts of late.
1· Did the snail I plucked from the middle of the road to prevent it from being squashed actually want to go where I placed it? And if not, did I increase the odds of its demise as it slides back across the road?
2· How many people I pass on the street are lonely, harboring secrets, or about to celebrate a fabulous event?
3· What do ants think about all day long?
4· Can a person stock their larder with baked beans and live on them for six months without suffering from malnutrition?
5· If squirrels forget where they store their nuts so often, why don’t they mark the spot with scratches, a stone, or a scent? (Not Chanel. You know what I mean).
6· What would happen if, on one day of the year, the individuals of countries at war swapped letters describing their joys and fears so they got to know each other?
7· How many memories does the average person keep?
8· How do butterflies fly hundreds (thousands?) of miles in the rain and strong wind and not get harmed?
9· How many trees could we save if companies stopped creating junk mail?
10· Are past life experiences uncovered during hypnotherapy the real McCoy?
11· Seriously, where do socks that disappear in the wash go?
12· Why do manufacturers make those pens with wobbly nibs?
13· If we took all the monosodium glutamate from junk foods, would they still taste good enough to eat?
14· Is there an evolutionary advantage to menopausal hot flashes?
15· Did early humans live for hundreds of years, as suggested in the bible?
16· Do the TV adverts between shows need to be so loud?
17· Does spraying your Christmas tree with hair lacquer stop needles from dropping, and is it flammable afterward?
18· Do people who manufacture nuclear weapons think it’s a good idea to produce something that could kill them and everyone they’ve ever loved?
19· Can you overeat chocolate?
20· Why is there always room in the stomach for pudding when you can’t possibly eat another bite of savory food?
21· Does chemical hair dye affect the brain?
22· Is it dangerous to stand close to a microwave while it heats your food?
23· If we stopped fluoride consumption, would we be healthier?
24· Are coincidences fate?
25· If I’d kept all those funky clothes from my youth, could I sell them for a packet to retro shops now?
26· Would most of us be illiterate if the printing press didn’t exist?
27· Did aliens build the pyramids?
28· Are candy bars smaller these days, or do they seem that way because I’m bigger?
29· Where does the time go? Literally.
