According to the Kama Sutra

1. Affection for her husband.
2. Thoughts of her children.
3. That she is too old.
4. She is depressed.
5. She is angry at the way the man is propositioning her.
6. She thinks that he is too mysterious.
7. She is afraid that the man is just going to ramble on.
8. She thinks that the man may be attached to some other person.
9. She is worried because the man is too open with his signals.
10. Thinking that the man is too devoted to his friends and that he values them too highly.
11. The fear that he is only teasing her.
12. Shyness on account of his being a famous man.
13. Fear on account of his being powerful, or possessed of an impulsive passion, in the case of the deer woman. [In the Kama Sutra, there are three sorts of women based on the depth of the yoni. These are a female deer, a mare, which is a female horse, and a female elephant.]
14. Shyness on account of his being too clever.
15. Because they have always been just friends.
16. She can’t stand a man that doesn’t know the proper time and place.
17. She does not respect the man because of his low character.
18. Disgust at his inability to read her signals.
19. In the case of an elephant woman, the thought that he is a hare man, or a man of weak passion. [In the Kama Sutra, there are three sorts of men based on the size of the lingam. These are the hare man, the bull man, and the horse man.]
20. Worry that something bad might happen to him because of her.
21. Despair at her own imperfections.
22. Fear of discovery.
23. Disillusion at seeing his grey hair or shabby appearance.
24. Fear that he may be employed by her husband to test her faithfulness.
25. Because of her religion.
