Speech: Ask the person to repeat a simple phrase after you and pay attention if their speech is unclear.
Time: If you observe any of these signs, note the time and call 911.
17. If you can’t swim, don’t panic.
When you fall into the water, you don’t have to be able to swim. Just hold your breath, and you will be able to float.

If you’re in a sinking car, you should try to open the door as soon as possible before water pressure makes it extremely hard. If you can’t do that, then break a window. When that becomes impossible, you will have to wait for the water to fill up the car. The pressure should equalize by then, and you’ll be able to open the door.

If you live alone or you’re simply going out for the night, tell your family or a friend where you are going. This takes small effort for you, and in case you won’t get back, they’ll know where to look for you.
