21 Lessons I’ve Learned in My 21 Years of Life
#8 Solo Trips started when I turned 29, I should have done that before. Traveled to 7 places on my own

In response to Luba Sigaud, I penned down my learnings to share with all of you.
21 perfect learning’s that made me slightly a perfect version of myself
- I used to be gullible. Trusting others in a glimpse of an eye was natural to me. Now I don’t and I won’t.
- Defending my friends and their wrongdoings, fighting with parents taking the side of my friends. Now I don’t and I won’t.
- Living in an imaginary world more than a realistic world. I took more time than usual to come to terms with my life. Now I don’t and I won’t.
- I gave my time to the wrong ones by opening my heart and soul. Now I don’t and I won’t.
- I forgave easily, especially those who never showed me the signs of improvement. Now I don’t and I won’t.
- It took me more than 10 years to realize when people leave and come back again, don’t entertain them. Now I don’t and I won’t.
- I burned almost 3 of my diaries and I am writing the 4th one. I don’t take writing lightly. Now I don’t and I won’t.
- Solo Trips started when I turned 29, I should have done that before. Traveled to 7 places on my own.
- It took me 18 years to get my book published. Most of my poems here are from my 2011 diary log. Now I will get myself published and won’t delay it anymore.
- I used to get offended by people who never meant anything to me. Now I don’t and I won’t.
- I don’t regret throwing people out of life for sucking my energy that could be invested in something else. Now I don’t and I won’t.
- Workout became my medicine in June 2018 and before that, I was doing the gym on and off. Now I regularly workout and won’t give it away anymore.
- I understood the power and language of blessings quite lately. Now I pray and rejoice in life.
- Spirituality knocked on my door when I turned 30 and it never left my side no matter how many gave up on me already?
- I trust in God and I know he exists. It took me all the darkness to show me the way towards the light.
- I appreciate and compliment immediately, what if I may not wake up tomorrow again? I don’t take anything for granted, not even myself.
- I drink water like people drink alcohol. Water made my life easy.
- I am an ardent fan of green tea, lemon tea, and green coffee. In my 20’s, I didn’t give it a damn and now my world revolves around healthy eating and thinking habits.
- I never doubted my skills. I always believed in myself and with time it has shown me how strong I am. I say no to charity for free work. I have done that for a good 8 years. Now I don’t and I won’t.
- I never hesitated to say no to anyone even though I lost friends.
- I became an avid reader in the ’30s. I should have done that long ago.
I hope you rejoice reading my choices.
I would also request if you could come up with your own or share your take with me in the comments. It’s fun to read how we get rid of our mistakes and become strong human beings.
