#292 Dead or Alive

2023 Wrapped on Dead or Alive

We’re not dead yet!

We launched on March 9 and published our first story on March 15. Since then, we have published one story daily and will continue to do so as long as we receive submissions! (pretty please)

I wonder if we’ll manage to celebrate the first anniversary! But isn’t the uncertainty of it the fun part?

Here are a few fun stats to celebrate the Death of 2023, the Birth of 2024, and to say thank you to all our writers!

  • Grimsby Hackney was the first to publish with us. Thank you! He’s (hopefully) busy with life and hasn’t written on Medium since July! That’s a strong start for the wrap. Are you sure you want to publish with us?
  • Ann James snatched the coveted 100 spot with a story about composting. She also got 222! Bookings for 333 are already open if anyone’s interested. First come, first served!
  • 111, a beautiful number, went to Russell L. Brand with a short piece about recovery. BTW, bookings for any available number are also open. Let me know in the comments! You can plan a story for your cat’s birthday, for example.

And now the top stories of 2023

  • Absolute number 1 is HF Sylaj with her boosted chickens!
  • #2 (and also boosted!) is Gary Chapin and his infamous dinner.
  • #3 goes to Evie Dawn with a title and picture combo that made people click!!

The Queen of Dead or Alive prize goes to

May More 💜 Tales. She placed three stories in the top 10 for 2023. Congratulations!! Here’s one I didn’t expect to see:

Finally, a special thanks to the Tantalizing Tales’ editors for their continuous support. May More 💜 Tales, Posy Churchgate, Marie A. Rebelle, and Marsha Adams.
