2020 I’ll Remember You
A poem
Freedom to move, Freedom to meet.
2020 I’ll remember you, when I am stuck in a tunnel, Gasping to breathe.
I’ll count my blessings, Little and big. I’ll remember you when I am stuck in a lift
I will think of you like an ex who never replied, I will thank you for reminding me of those who stood by.
2020 you’re a lesson in disguise, I hope we learn it before it becomes a lifestyle.
You got us back to our roots, Showed us the power of gratitude.
We’ll think of you in 10 years, Reminiscing about how you stopped the motor of the world, But most importantly, how you revealed the warrior in all of us!
Stay safe everyone!
