20 Things I Would Like To Do In 2024

There were many things I started in 2023 and did not complete.

Inspired by Kavita H

It is the first day of the year 2024 and I am lying in bed, reflecting on 2023 and what I would like to accomplish in 2024. The year 2023, has been a challenging year for me. I experienced betrayal, broken trust and if that wasn’t enough, my career was on the line. The lies of a co-worker were almost the channel to destroy what I had worked so hard for.

If it had not been for the mercies of God the enemy would rob me of my joy, my peace, and my sanity. However, I am grateful for my hobbies, they were instrumental in helping me stay focused and not swivel up in some corner. I had a prayer line and godly friends who called and encouraged me. I still had my faith and a relationship with God, so I knew He was fighting on my behalf.

There was this scripture verse that encouraged me to trust the Lord for he is my warrior and will not rest until he vindicated me. I had to go through it but I had to strengthen my faith muscles.

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.” (Isaiah 54:17).

Here goes. There were many things I started in 2023 and did not complete. Hobbies started, such as Knitting and lying down in a box incomplete. Crochet incomplete and laying down in their box calling out when will I be done, and books started pages marked to complete and never finished. They are calling and wondering what will complete me to find out what happens in the end.

I don’t make New Year’s resolutions. Tried it once and it wasn’t a success. It wasn’t from my heart and I believe that’s the reason it never came to fruition.

So as I read Kavita H’s story I am inspired to make a list of the incomplete projects I would like to accomplish in 2024, and I hope to document and include you on this journey when each one is complete.
