(20) The Feast of Unintended Consequences

(A horror story in 50 words.)

Little morsels always believe that light will banish monsters. They turn on lamps or sleep with small bulbs glowing.

On nights when our senses of smell desert us, those lights make the succulent ones much easier to find.

We find them. We thank them for their assistance.

And we eat.
