Tips and tricks:
Achieving a desired art style in MidJourney can be influenced by various factors. However, perfecting an art style usually requires a bit more finesse. Consider these strategies:
Enrich Your Prompt: Merely appending a term like “gothic” can make a difference, but diving deeper by including relevant keywords such as “church” or “arches” will steer MidJourney more accurately towards your vision.
- Experiment with Aspect Ratios: Different art styles resonate with different frame dimensions. For instance, Art Nouveau is particularly striking in portrait frames, especially in ratios like 9:21. Append “ — ar 9:21” (or any desired ratio) to your prompt to adjust the frame.
- Incorporate Artist References: If you’re targeting a distinct style, embedding the name of an artist synonymous with that style can be beneficial. For a Baroque vibe, you might add “Vermeer” or “Rembrandt” to your instructions. While using one artist name is common, combining multiple can yield intriguing results.
