When I was new to the medium platform, I didn’t have an idea about publications.

Then I searched on Google and Youtube, I got an idea of what exactly publication is and how it works. Then I started submitting my story to Medium publications but I got rejection.

Why does it happen? There are several reasons. My story doesn’t have proper stature, lots of error on content. I don’t give credit to photo owners.

Every publication has recommended “Grammarly” Because it helps you to remove an error while writing content on your online presence.

However, let’s talk about the Medium publication which can help you to become a good content writer.

In this Medium Platform, There Are Two Types Of Publications.

1) Small publications

2) Large publications

Before I jump into the name of publications, let me help you to understand how Medium publication works.

Medium publications are great for making a good connection with writers. Publications have a large number of followers, so it has a good enough chance to increase your followers.

One of the best things about publications is they don’t charge a single amount from you to publish your story.

You might be thinking about how the publication works. Can you elaborate?

When you write a story you have two choices.

1) Publish your own

2) Submit to a publication

When you write a story on a particular topic and you don’t want to wait to see your story live then you can publish your own.

Submit To Publication

When you write for the publication then you have to approach the Medium publication to review your story and it takes time and a process to review.

Once Medium publication has reviewed your story, they will send you a note whether your story gets accepted or not.

Sometimes its take 4–5 or 10–14 days to review your story but I mostly recommend you to go with the Medium publication.

Your story (your story title) wasn’t accepted into the publication (publication name). However, your story is still published on Medium, and you can share it with your network.

But you don’t need to worry about it.

Write content that tells the true stories and storytelling is the best way to engage your audience and that’s an expert tip.

No matter if the publication will approve your request or not, make sure you create a habit of Creating the best content.
