Hello friend,

Welcome to yet another edition to this newsletter “Part-time creator.”

Content creation online has become a huge trend in recent years.

It’s taking over the internet, especially solopreneurship.

Every platform has a high number of creators who are creating online content and building their businesses.

As traditional working culture is changing drastically.

With a downfall in the economy and a long list of layoffs, people are finally understanding the downside of spending their entire life in a cubicle, tapping away their precious time just to build someone else’s business.

If you are looking for something that is your own, finally having to own up your time and live the way you want, start doing it.

This is what I am slowly building.

1/ Start somewhere

Have you said these things?

  • “I hate this job.”
  • “I am not adding any value.”
  • “My entire day goes in meetings.”
  • “Waiting years for a tiny fraction of pay hike.”

Instead of waiting for the perfect moment, just start.

You don’t have to be very specific, start with something that is available right in front of you.

If you want to become the best creator you can be, you must ask yourself questions.

Be brutally honest with your answers.

You must lean in.

It’s uncomfortable but it’s important.

It’s the first step.

Some questions you can start with:

  1. What does your ideal day look like?
  2. What are you currently missing in your day job?
  3. What do you think your strengths are?
  4. How can your strengths help you live the life you want?

2/ That big dream

Life isn’t simple.

Nothing good happens overnight.

When you see incredible people online building wonderful businesses, and you want in, you start to dream.

What if you don’t need to quit your 9–5 but still can do something you love?

It’s all possible only when you learn the art of elimination.

Without subtraction, you can’t add anything new.

Else, you will start hating what you actually love doing.

Find out what you can eliminate to leave room to do something better.

It’s a lifetime affair.

To achieve big dreams, it’s a good way to help you kick start.

But the most important thing is you need to be fully committed to your dream.

There is no easy way out.

You can’t break up when things become hard.

Because it’s always going to be.

To build something extraordinary, it takes 5 years.

Think about it and ask yourself this:

Do you have what it takes?

It took 2 years for people to actually notice my writing.

I know it’s not what you want to hear, but it’s really important.

You have to be doing it for the right reasons.

Take it from me, someone who is trying different things to eventually find what I love.

Lastly,

This is another one of those newsletters to tell you that it’s always, always the small acts that make a world of a difference.

While this require bigger actions, but doing a tiny bit each day can help you find what you really need.

That isn’t so bad, is it?

I hope this helps. Share your thoughts in the comments.

See you next week.

Have a lovely day❤️
