Laughter has the power to actually take you away from your current bad, sad, or negative mindset, just like a mini vacation.

Too often, people spend so much time struggling to achieve someone else’s idea of success, that when they finally get it, they realize it’s not even what they really want. You can only be happy if what you get is actually what you want.
7. “Success is going from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.” — WINSTON CHURCHILL
Many people miss the point of this saying. It teaches us that we are succeeding with each and every failure. We wouldn’t be able to fail multiple times, if we had failed only once and gave up the first time. But the more we fail, and not give up, the closer we come to our ultimate success.
8. “Take rest. A field that has rested gives a bountiful crop.” OVID
No group of people ever needed to hear these words more, than a community of busy writers, trying hard to succeed. But succeeding (aka: having a bountiful crop) is reliant on our being able to get enough rest, so we can do a hard day’s work more effectively.

While there is nothing wrong with dreaming, if all you do is continue looking outward, figuratively speaking, you will always be a dreamer, but never accomplish those dreams. By looking inward, you come to realizations that help you awake (figuratively), so you become aware of what you need to do to see your dreams become a reality.
