15 Books That Can Change Your Life
I started reading non-fiction avidly in 2022. At one point I stopped counting, but the number I’m at this year is somewhere around 100. I’m not exaggerating when I say that reading changed my life.
But today I’m not here to tell you about the immense benefits of reading.
I want to share with you the books that were most helpful for me, so you can save your time and get straight to where you’ll get the most impact.
I spent a lot of time picking books and reading not-so-great books, and I hope this list will save you from having to do the same.
Let’s get right into it.
The Power of Now
You can’t change the future or the past. The only thing you can control is the now, so be in the present.
Meet With The One Inside Yourself
All our problems come from within, and everything that “happens” to us is merely a reflection of how we see ourselves and the world, so any change must begin with a change in mindset.

Only when we stop seeing ourselves as victims and placing blame, we can truly make peace with our past and heal from trauma.
“Danshari” by Hideko Yamashita

Growth Mindset
We’re not defined by our present failures, but by what we can do in the future. This start from seeing ourselves as constantly growing, and knowing we have control over who we are in the future.
The ONE Thing
At any given time, there is only ONE most important thing. Prioritizing it gives much better results than diverting our energy all over the place.
Deep Work
Our ability to produce focused work in a state of flow is the defining contributor to gaining fulfillment from meaningful work.
Who Moved My Cheese?
Change is inevitable, and uncertainty prevails, so we must be ready to adapt to change and embrace the opportunities that come with it, instead of resisting and denying change.
I-Power: The Freedom to Be Me, George Dieter
99% of our problems can be resolved when we set our boundaries and respect the boundaries of ourselves and everyone we interact with, including family.
Network Up, Connie Zhang
You form meaningful connections when you stop focusing on what’s in it for you and do everything you can to provide value to others.
Minimalism
Letting go of the materialistic desires and possessions that enslave us make us truly free.
12 Week Year
Our growth is not determined by the passage of time, but by how quickly we iterate. When we shorten our feedback loops from 12 months to 12 weeks or 12 days, we can accomplish much much more.
Principals by Ray Dalio
Follow a carefully chosen set of principles, and never compromise for short-term gain. Living by your principles 100% of the time makes your life so much easier.
Deliberate Practice
Improvement in anything comes from a simple formula: intentional and target practice, getting and acting on feedback, and repeat.
Four Thousand Weeks: Time Management for Mortals
Life is short. We must focus our limited time and attention on the truly important things and accept that we can’t have it all.
The 10x Rule
Don’t commit easily, but give everything you choose to commit to 100%.
I have so many great books to share with you that one list isn’t enough. So, I divided them into this list focusing more on the personal side and another, which I’ll share later.
In the next list, I’ll share the books that expanded my worldview exponentially, from strategic thinking to systems to money and more.

Until then, take care!
