12 Powerful Quotes To Live Your Life By
Think about one (or all) of these every day and see what happens
We get showered with quotes daily. Some good. Most bad. Others are timeless.
There have been a handful of quotes that have helped me decide when I’m at a fork in the road. Think about life in certain ways. And make me a better person in every way.
Here are 12 timeless and powerful quotes that should be pondered daily:
If you don’t design your own life plan, chances are you’ll fall into someone else’s plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much.
Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.
To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.
Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.

Let others lead small lives, but not you. Let others argue over small things, but not you. Let others cry over small hurts, but not you. Let others leave their future in someone else’s hands, but not you.
The most basic question is not what is best, but who shall decide what is best.
The way we do anything is the way we do everything.
All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.
Men are anxious to improve their circumstances, but are unwilling to improve themselves; they therefore remain bound.
These quotes are simple and timeless. One of these will always pop into my head at random times when I’m making career or life decisions. Steve Jobs has several more amazing quotes, as does Jim Rohn. I’ll throw in a quote (#13) from yours truly that tries to sum up how I live my life:
Read every day. Journal every day. Get your 10,000 steps in. Eat less. Exercise more. Travel as often as you can. Stay uncomfortable. Laugh and smile every day. Turn off the tv. Go for a walk. Move to a new city. Do something that scares you every day.
