The list below is of suggestions that I believe have value. Some are trivial and simple, others less obvious. I think there is something for everyone. These are proven methods that will effectively fill your precious time.

1. Read books

There is no better activity where you can combine relaxation and learning. After such action, the brain is conversational and culturally aware. It allows you to escape into the world created by the author. I am currently reading Mentor Tribe.

2. Listen to audiobooks

Not everyone likes to read books physically. Some people get tired of their eyes or prefer to listen. It is worth looking for audiobooks and broadening your horizons through the sense of hearing. For my part, I recommend a series of audiobooks about productivity or online business.

3. Organize your photos

In the era of digital cameras, we can bring several thousand photos from one trip. This is the perfect time to organize your photo folders and make an in-depth selection. Maybe it is worth thinking about printing some of the most exciting frames.

4. Start writing a blog

You can always start with free platforms such as wordpress.com or blogger.com, and if you catch the bug, you can quickly transfer it to an independent server and domain. Trust me. It’s worth writing a blog because you can use this as your portfolio.

6. Learn photography with a smartphone

You don’t need excellent photography equipment to get the basics down. All you need is a smartphone and a little creativity. For example, better photos will be found on your private Facebook among friends. This post provides practical advice — Smartphone Photography — 5 tips on how to take beautiful pictures.

7. Set up a social media channel

Each of us creates our image. Some do it consciously, others less consciously. It is worth trying your hand at one of the platforms. Think about what you feel stronger in. Maybe you are predisposed to speak in front of the camera? Then you have a good chance of YouTube.

8. Start learning a new language

Learning a new language is excellent training for your brain and an opportunity to better understand the country. Maybe learning German, and Spanish will help you do more in your career.

9. Keep fit

The best journey is when your body is ready for it. So, exercise and get fit. On the internet, you will find a lot of free video workouts, apps with workout routines, and much more.

10. Run

People always say they don’t have time for this. An opportunity was just presented. All you need to do is find the nearest forest, clearing, or park and set off. Put on your old trainers. Don’t make excuses. Get out of the house and start running.

11. Learn to meditate

Meditation allows you to achieve inner peace. Try your hand. Maybe your leisure meditation routine becomes your morning routine as you return to your normal busy days. I will tell you that I am getting myself ready to meditate in my life.

12. Create something new that can be turned into money

Think about what you would like to learn and, at the same time, whether you are this new skill into cash. For example, you are involved in photography and writing. You’ve never had any experience with making Youtube videos. Is it maybe time to start?

As you can see, there are many ideas for filling my free time. You can choose and choose. What is certain is that the most challenging thing will be to fight the inner laziness that takes up your precious time every day.

Also, do not forget that free time is time for you. Sometimes it is worth lying belly up and doing nothing. Such rest is also good, as long as you don’t become its prisoner. Meanwhile, good luck with your action.
