So I’m doing short-form posts and recreating posts for a challenge of consistency and growth on medium. Today is Day 2, and I’m on my third post.

This post is highlighting a previous post, titled I Want to Start by Saying I’ve Always Been a Sensitive Man

The post expresses the trauma black men go through growing up. More so crying and expressing feelings. As black men, we struggle with the pressures of society to create this “tough guy” persona. The post highlights a broad conversation that talks about me as a sensitive person and my personal growth as A man. I want it to be utilized as a gateway to conversation for black men to be able to explore their emotions.

This isn’t an easy task. However, it can be done. Through serious shadow work and therapy. And a part of my therapy and growth is acknowledged that I grew up sensitive and no longer cry. Due to pressure, due to what we need in life to become better people. Check it out, The goal is to help black men, hopefully, it helps them.
