100 Followers: Notice of potential removal saves my life goal
Sometimes, life needs an aggressive response to get you back on track!

I just received an email from Medium Partner Program today mentioning that I am going to be removed from the program by March 2nd, if my account does not meet the target of 100 followers. Well, I have known this policy for months, and it did not seem to bother me at all until I got the deadline today.
Frankly speaking, I do not like the idea of this policy at all as some people (including me) just want to write and do not want to care too much of the number of followers. Being excluded because of not having enough followers is not fair! But, as we have to comply with it, I see the light in it.
This policy brings my ultimate goal back to light after I blew it out for months.
The reasons why I stopped writing:
I am Thai. English language is my second language. I want every piece of my writing to be perfect in grammar, wording, style, etc., so I need to ask my husband to help check and proofread it. And, that takes lots of time since he needs to do his work as well.
I am worried about being judged.
I don’t think I can do it because of the above reasons.
“How can I become a writer in America with poor English?” This is what I thought that made me stop writing.
Then…
I also saw the notification from Robbi K. Mark, SR ED-PUB, Thank You for Being the Best Part of Be Open PUB, that has my name on it as one of golden story writers. This means a lot to me as it helps boost up my confidence and positivity towards my capability to write, and strengthens my persistence in studying English more, and gives me tons of encouragement!
Thank you so much Robbi K. Mark, SR ED-PUB
All in all, I have a few weeks to see if I am going to be removed or not. Within this deadline, my nerves have been triggered that I have to do something because I want to be a writer! I want encouragement! If gaining followers is one of many kinds of giving encouragement to a new writer (like me), please follow them, and me, so that we know that there is still a place for us to get better and share our ideas and creativity.
I will give you my encouragement as well!
