Started directing Escape to Nowhere (1961) and Firelight (1964)

His most successful movies are Jaws (1975), Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977), ET the Extra-Terrestrial (1982), Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), The Goonies , and Gremlins (1984).
With the Schindler’s List (1993), Spielberg won Oscars for Best Director and Best Picture.
He struggled with dyslexia but didn’t find out until his 60s.
