I just started Medium a few weeks ago and I am loving it here so far! I truly enjoy interacting with you all, we have such a great writing community. There is so much talent here. I am truly amazed by all of your work, some of the stories that I read on Medium blow me away. Many of your stories leave me in awe and have me captivated until the very end.

I love to find stories on Medium about personal growth and just life talk in general. I have learned so much from you all in such a short amount of time!

It’s amazing how someone’s writing can leave such an impact. I will find myself replaying what I have read throughout my day. I love to read stories that take me away, I love to get lost in a good article and have my imagination and wonder come alive. Being on Medium has just been so wonderful in so many ways.

Today I received my first Medium challenge! Thank you, Matt Patton, for challenging me to write a 10-word story. I truly appreciate the tag very much and although this took some thought, this challenge was fun! For those of you that do not know Matt Patton yet, he is an excellent writer whom I have learned a lot so far, he writes on many different topics and always keeps things interesting! Matt Patton, I appreciate all of your support and kind words thus far.

So, my fellow writing community, here is my 10-word story:

A story untold is like a flower not yet bloomed.

The above 10–word story explains how I feel about the stories that we keep within ourselves. Ones that we are afraid to share, ones that we think no one will listen to. Not only will sharing these stories help you blossom as a person, but the stories themselves have a way of helping other people grow. We can share and learn together, human to human. Life is the biggest test, we have so much to learn. A shared story has so much beauty and so much potential.

I truly hope that you have enjoyed my little story. I would now like to pass the challenge onto a few fellow writers:

Brianna Stryker, Juanita Ellingson, Charlotte Kingsbury- Fink, Benighted, Kyle Aldous, Revanth Goud, Victoria Gregg, Diana Meresc, The Fumbling Generalist, Carrie Morrison, Tree Langdon

Have fun and I cannot wait to hear what stories you will come up with!
