10 Tips to Becoming an Ultra Productive Blogger

Tips that help you work faster and better

Sara, I am leaving you! Bye Bye…

-said my tormented sanity

I felt lost for a moment…but then my mum woke me up…

Thank God, it was Just A Dream.

-I was still in my bed, breathing heavily…phew! It was just a dream.

But that dream arose plenty of questions in my mind.

Questions like, how can I be a more productive blogger?

Am I using my brain wisely?

What are the best practices to follow in order to increase my blog output?

And so on…

I got the answers and found my way. Today, I’m sharing 10 tips that helped me become an ultra-productive blogger.

Let’s start with the first tip! Here we go…

Tip # 01: Wake Up Early

One of the best ways to be productive is by waking up early. This allows you to start your day with a clear mind and get things done without distractions.

How to wake up early? That’s easy! Just set your alarm for an earlier time and stick to that routine.

It’s hard to believe, but waking up early can make you happier!

Tip # 02: Find Your Rhythm and Flow

Sometimes, I felt like my flow was stuck in a rut when I started blogging. It wasn’t really easy for me to get things done…I had writer’s block…it took forever for me to write a post.

What I did was find my rhythm and flow. This means that you have to find your groove, so to speak. You need to figure out the best times for you to work on your blog posts.

Are you a morning person? Or do you work better at night? Once you figure this out, you can set your own blogging schedule.

I like to work early in the morning…but no one said that’s a rule! This is all about finding what works best for YOU.

Tip # 03: Stay Away From Distractions

The web has plenty of distractions, and if you’re not careful enough, you can get lost in the endless maze of social media.

How to stay away from distractions? It’s easier than it seems…you just have to be strict with yourself and avoid being sucked into the digital world every time a notification pops up on your screen!

You need some self-discipline here, so try setting a time limit and stick to it.

For example, you can work on your blog posts for two hours every day and avoid using social media during that period of time. It’s all about balancing things out!

Be strong…and don’t be afraid to say no when needed!

Tip # 04: Make The Most Out Of Your Time

How can you make the most out of your time? This is a question that I asked myself a lot in the past.

I spent hours on end browsing through random websites or watching TV shows that I didn’t even enjoy…just because I couldn’t be bothered to do anything else.

What’s worse is that I felt bad after wasting so much time on meaningless activities.

Those days are gone now! I have changed my ways and now spend most of my spare time writing blog posts or doing something that helps me grow as a person…

I’ve learned to be more productive because you get closer to your goals with every minute spent productively!

Tip # 05: Take Breaks

Yes, you read that right! Taking breaks is actually a good thing and can help increase your productivity. How?

When you take a break from whatever it is that you’re doing, your brain gets a chance to relax and recharge. This will help you be more focused when you return to work.

Take breaks every 90 minutes or so…and do something relaxing, like going for a walk outside or having an iced tea with your best blogging friend!

You can also schedule some time off and take vacations from blogging whenever you feel the need. If you love what you do, then it does not really work, right?

Tip # 06: Set Goals

Setting goals is a great way to stay focused and motivated. When you have something to aim for, it’s easier to stay on track and not get sidetracked.

How do you set blogging goals? It’s really simple! Just sit down and write out what you want to achieve in the short and long run.

Some goals can be:

- Publish a certain number of blog posts each month/week

- Reach a specific number of pageviews each month/week

- Get more social media followers

- Increase website traffic

etc. etc.

Tip # 07: Use Tools To Help You

There are a lot of tools out there that can help you become a more productive blogger. Here are some of my favorites:

- Evernote: This is an amazing app that helps you take notes and stay organized. I use it to keep track of ideas, blog post topics, and anything else that comes to mind.

- Google Calendar: This is a great tool for keeping track of your blog post deadlines and other appointments.

- Canva: Canva is an amazing online design tool that helps you create beautiful graphics for your blog posts. It’s really easy to use, and there are tons of templates and fonts to choose from.

- SocialBee: SocialBee is a great tool for scheduling your social media posts. You can also use it to create custom graphics and see how well your different posts perform over time.

- Grammarly: This online grammar checker helps you spot mistakes that spellcheck might miss in blog post titles, subtitles, etc… It’s a must-have!

Tip # 08: Don’t Try To Do It All At Once

Being a productive blogger means that you’re constantly working on your blog.

It can be tempting to spend all of your free time trying to grow your website and social media following, but it’s important not to bite off more than you can chew!

Focus on one task at a time and give it your all. Once you’ve finished that task, move on to the next one. This will help you avoid feeling overwhelmed and stressed out.

Tip # 09: Take Advantage Of Dead Time

We all have moments where we’re waiting for something or someone. Instead of wasting that time by checking Facebook or browsing through Pinterest, why not use it to work on your blog?

You can brainstorm ideas, write down your thoughts, or even do some research. The possibilities are endless!

Tip #010: Set A Timer

This is a great way to stay focused and productive. When you set a timer for a certain amount of time, you’re more likely to work faster and get more done.

For example, if you have one hour to write a blog post, you’ll be more productive than if you had all day to do it.

experiment with different time periods and see what works best for you. I usually set a timer for 30–45 minutes and then take a break.

That’s it! These are my top tips for becoming a more productive blogger. I hope you find them helpful! :)

Bonus Tip: Be Patient

It takes time to grow a successful blog. Don’t get discouraged if things don’t happen overnight. Rome wasn’t built in a day (You know what I mean)
