Know Thyself Challenge
10 (Spiritual) Things About Me You Need To Know
Or maybe you don’t, but here they are.

I was challenged to share ten spiritual things about myself. I don’t know if it was Amy Marley, or Aurora Eliam, CMP, or someone else. It’s been a while, and I have been thinking about it.
These are ten thoughts, beliefs, and principles that guide my life.
- My dad taught me at a young age to not accept everything I hear even if the source is someone I respect. It happened when I mentioned something I had heard at the religious center.
- Essentially, all religions teach the same message of love and Unity. When I came to the US in 1974, I wrote a term paper about faith and happiness for my English class. My professor recommended against it, but I got an A regardless.
- Spirituality has nothing to do with religiosity.
- The Universe is perfect as it is at any given moment. It is changing and evolving, yet maintains its perfection in every moment.
- The Universe is Infinite; therefore, everyone and everything is the center of the Universe. Regardless of where you or someone else is, the Universe continues infinitely from that point. Deepak Chopra explains it beautifully.
- There can be no lack in an Infinite Universe. Abundance is the nature of existence.
- Gratitude is the key that unlocks the Abundance of Nature.
- I am grateful for all things, and all people since everything and everyone has contributed to my being who I am.
- Everything we need to express ourselves fully is already here and will be made available to us when we need it.
- The principle of having available what we need when we need it is what I refer to as Serendipity and Synchronicity.
A part of the challenge is to invite three other people whose writings I admire and appreciate on Medium. I would like to welcome Ryan Fan, Kathryn LeRoy, Ph.D., and Rosennab.

As always, thank you for reading and responding.
