10 Running Quotes to Help Get You Out the Door

You’ll be surprised by the power of a few words.

As the days continue to blur together and races continue to get canceled, it’s hard to find motivation. I need to have goals and races to train for to help me get out the door and go for a run. I love to race.

As a college runner, I’m not sure if I’ll even be having a season in the fall. As plans for school reopening have started to come out, they continue to have no answers regarding athletics.

We have to look for other places to find motivation now, which is why I have compiled a few of my favorite quotes. There are so many great running quotes out there, it is hard to choose just ten, but hopefully, these will give you a little inspiration to continue running during these hard times.

  1. “There are a million reasons why you can’t. Focus on the few reasons why you can.” — Kara Goucher
