10 Quotes Guaranteed To Boost Your Motivation to a New Level
A Daily Quote for the Next 10 Days

“Find a motivational quote and write about it. In what way does it offer encouragement for you?”
You can never get enough motivation and encouragement. So why don’t we take it to the next level and make a list out of it?

“You can’t control how other people receive your energy. Anything you do or say gets filtered through the lens of whatever they are going through at the moment. Which is not about you. Just keep doing your thing with as much integrity and love as possible.” — Nanea Hoffman
Or in other words, whatever you do, hold on to your authenticity. Do what you think is right because you know your intentions best.

“It’s not who you are that holds you back. It’s who you think you’re not.” — Denis Waitley
Especially when we think we know exactly who we are, we often overlook hidden talents or interests.
For example, 20 years ago as a middle school student, I didn’t think I could possibly have a particularly good grasp of the natural sciences. And just yesterday I wrote about how the past few months have proven me wrong.

“You can never cross the ocean until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.” — Christopher Columbus
I know the fear of change very well. I like to rely on what has worked well in the past.
But stagnation is not a permanent solution. To advance to the next level, we need the courage to change.

“Be yourself because an original is worth more than just a copy.” — Suzy Kassem
Or as Kurt Cobain once said, “Wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you are.”
Why it’s so important to do our own thing and not always chase after an ideal I’ve addressed in one of my past articles:

“Be so good they can’t ignore you.” — Steve Martin
Powerful words. Especially for the introverts among us who have often felt invisible in our lives.
And I don’t know if you’ve ever experienced that, but I know the sensation very well. And when I read this quote from Steve Martin, I get the feeling of regaining control.

“Failure is not the opposite of success; it’s part of success.” — Arianna Huffington
We don’t necessarily have to apply this quote to ourselves for it to have its full effect.
Rather, it shows that even the most successful people are only human. People with mistakes and people who have had to accept defeat more than once.

“There is no greater thing you can do with your life and your work than follow your passions — in a way that serves the world and you.” — Richard Branson
Especially the last part of this statement deserves attention.
“….in a way that serves the world and you.”
Because that’s how our actions take on meaning. We make the world a better place and ourselves a better person.

“If you know me based on who I was a year ago, you don’t know me at all. My growth game is strong. Allow me to reintroduce myself.” — Aagam Shah
This quote breaks many chains to which we feel bound. It shows that we are constantly outgrowing ourselves. What may have been unthinkable yesterday becomes tomorrow the most normal thing in the world.
To give a simple but effective example: For the past decade, I assumed that I was just overweight and had to live with it.
Among other things, it took a lot of courage for me to escape this cycle and become a different person. And I haven’t regretted it a single day:

“People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing — that’s why we recommend it daily.” — Zig Ziglar
A cheerful way of saying that every day is a new beginning.

“If people are doubting how far you can go, go so far that you can’t hear them anymore.” — Michele Ruiz
Or in different words: What others think about you is irrelevant, because your actions speak for themselves.
