Squid Game is one of the popular shows on Netflix. It is getting positive as well as negative reviews, as everyone has a different point of view. All views are according to the personal perspective, so I respect every thought.

As we all are living in a consumer society, and tend to follow each other, so I think why not visit this popular series? After watching this series, I came to know about different facts presented in it. Everybody knows about the representation of massive violence and heartbreaking scenes, but there are some life lessons.

I am not going to talk about how violence has shown? I am sharing what I learn from this series. Here are the few life lessons which I noticed in Squid Game.

1# Focus on Building a Mindset and Forget about Physical Weakness.

In Squid Game, there are strong and weak players. When the tug of war game starts, Seong Gi-hun (also known as Player 456) worried about his team, then the old man (named Player 001, Oh Il-Nam)boosted his courage. He states, if you are a strong leader, then you can run the team of weakness. All you have to do is stay strong and build a strategy. The moment was flawless when Seong’s team won.

This game gives a lesson on mental strength. If you have a strong mindset, then you can make a strategy that will lead you to the best.

2# Selfishness.

Everyone is selfish to some extent and wants to win the game. In the walking glass game scene, player 26 remains silent. In the exchange of pebbles game, Ali’s fellow cheated him. The players are selfish to some extent and want to win the amount in any way.

Almost every sinful action ever committed can be traced back to a selfish motive. It’s a trait we hate in other people but justify in ourselves — Stephen Kendrick

3#Courage to Face Everything and Become a Limitless.

If you remain courageous, then you can win any battle. During the red light green light game, there was a moment when an old man took a courageous step to move on. He remains courageous at every level without noticing his age.

4# We Are the Players of Life.

Everyone is playing the role of the player in life. Sometimes we fall, got injured, but still play our role in life to survive in this world.

5# Taking a Risk of Life for Money.

In Squid Game, there is a total of 456 players. All players belong to different classes but face financial problems. This issue made them take the risk. The series shows that every player is here for the money. They are willing to sacrifice their life for money. No one cares for life, only running for money and doing whatever it demands. It shows that we do not care about any other thing when it comes to money.

6# We Are Zombies Who Are Following Orders.

Squid Game is based on childhood games where the players follow the orders of the game. In the Squid Game, the players are following the front-man. All players are mature enough to understand the reality behind the game, but they become a puppet. They are moving according to the orders given by the guards. They do not have the power to deny orders, which is why I call zombies. We are living in a zombified world. All the players are victims of circumstances that are not letting them down.

7# Remain Loyal to Each Other and Show Kindness in Life.

In modern society, loyalty is hard to find out. Once you follow loyalty you become a kind person. This kindness gives you a loyal shine.

In the pebbles game, player 001 acts like a dementia patient to make the fellow winner. He did not care for his life but gave all pebbles to Sengo.

In the end, Sengo denied money for the friend. He did not want to take all the money by killing the opponent. It was his loyalty to human beings that have rejected the money. The opponent of the game was looking at everything and then murdered himself by knife. He realized his wrongdoings and cheatings with the fellows. Sengo’s kindness melted his heart, and he killed himself to make Seung a winner.

8# Find Out the Solutions to Get Rid of Problems.

When the players were ordered to cut down the shapes of candies, some players failed to cut down the exact shape. The reason behind this was the players got panic and did not know the starting position. When player 456 was cutting down the shape of the umbrella, he realized that the falling sweat made the candy shape opaque. He tasted that candy and got to know that it is only a sugar-crafted shape. Sengo starts licking the candy shape and finishes the task. He finds out the solution to that game. He changed the strategy of the game.

It shows that if you are unable to do a task within the given time, then change the strategy- instead of losing the courage. If you stick to a goal, you will find the solutions related to that task. It also reflects that how a leader is paving the way for the followers.

9# We Compete with Each Other.

Squid Game reflects that we are fighting with each other and putting each other down to raise the self. It is visible in almost every game.

10# What You Are Today Is Because of the Choices.

At the start, the players have given two cards- red and blue. Those who selected blue cards become the guards while the red card people become the players in the game. So, making the right choices at the right time is the best thing you have to do.

Your future depends upon your choices.
