10 Gratitude Prompts To Bring You Happiness & Wealth
Think, journal, or respond…
Reflections on gratitude invite happy moments and wealth into your life. Let these gratitude prompts bring goodness — think about them, journal about them, or respond to them. Enjoy them one at a time or all at once!
1. What’s keeping you happy these days? Name any little or big thing in your life that is bringing you smiles, laughter, or sweet thoughts.
2. What 3 things are you grateful for that help you or have the potential to help you make money?
3. Name one person in your life that makes you feel like you are enough. Because… you are enough! This person can be a person in your real life, someone you know online, or even an inspirational celebrity.
4. List a couple opportunities you have to save money. This may be access to a 401(k) or high-yield savings account, technology that allows you to automate your savings, or even a way to make a little extra cash (such as by writing on Medium).
5. What about your health are you grateful for? What options are available to you to work on becoming healthier, physically and mentally?
6. What are 3 of your favorite activities to do that cost no money? Some examples may be taking a walk, watching a movie at home, playing family board games, or decluttering.
7. What organizations or charities could use your financial or physical assistance? Be grateful for your privilege to share.
8. What is one tangible privilege and one intangible privilege that you enjoy that others may not? A tangible privilege could be running water; an intangible privilege might be growing up with two parents.
9. What solo or family tradition are you grateful for and why? Are there any traditions you’d like to start?
10. What is something you could let go of in order to bring more happiness into your life? This might be anything from a bunch of junk in one of your rooms to unnecessarily high expectations of yourself.
Daily gratitude reflection and journaling have helped me in my personal finance journey and in life in general. Gratitude makes me realize that I have enough and am enough. I no longer strive to impress others with what I have. I value experiences over stuff.
In turn, I enjoy more happiness and wealth.
I acknowledge that I am privileged to be in a healthy, happy, and financially stable place. I hope to share anything I know so that others can reach this peace as well.
