10 Easy Steps To Actively Accelerate Manifesting The Life You Desire

Photo by Rhett Wesley on Unsplash

Actively manifesting the life you desire is not about wishing upon a star and waiting for all of it to drop in your lap. And neither is it just about working your dreams into reality.

It’s about being crystal clear about the outcomes you desire, aligning your mindset with those desires and taking inspired action to making it a reality while being open to how it may show up.

Yes, your mindset is important. It does affect your capacity to bring into reality your intentions. Here are ten key elements that need to be in place to accelerate your manifestations.

1. Focus on what it is you want

Once you are clear about what you want, actively focus on those desires. We are often very clear about what we don’t want. And this in turn causes us to bring into reality more of what we don’t want.

It’s like telling someone not to think of a pink elephant. The first image that pops up is a pink elephant. If it’s a white tiger that you’re wanting, think of a white tiger instead of trying NOT to think of a pink elephant.

Most of our thoughts are repetitive and harmful. Science says that 80% of our thoughts are negative. If you want to make a change in an area of your life, you must focus on the outcomes you desire.

2. Actively change your limiting beliefs.

Beneath all our thoughts are beliefs. Become aware of your beliefs and question them. You can’t expect to attract a new healthy relationship while holding on to the belief that “there are no good people around.”

Once you’ve questioned your disempowering beliefs, replace them with empowering ones. To change your reality, you must script a belief that supports your desires.

3. Actively change your self-concept

Your belief systems are closely tied to your self-concept and identity. You can’t change your reality while holding on to an existing sense of self.

To change your reality, you must alter your sense of yourself to align with this new desired reality.

You can’t lose weight over the long term while believing and articulating that all the women in your family have been large so that explains why you are large.

For long lasting transformation, you need to start seeing yourself differently. If a healthy body is what you seek then start seeing yourself as healthy being and making choices that align with this new identity.

4. Actively look for the good in all things.

Look for the good in every situation and person as this attitude will keep you in a happy state of being.

Making a habit of seeing the good in everyone and in all things can be difficult if you have had many negative experiences. The realities of the war in Ukraine, the pandemic, crime etc makes it hard to see the good in this world. But good does exist. It is up to you to decide how you interpret what you see.

5. Actively look for signs of what you’re creating

Our brains are wired to bring our attention to whatever we decide to focus on. Look out for evidence of this. When I was thinking of buying a black porsche, for weeks after I kept noticing black porsches everywhere I went.

Once you get clear about the change you want to make or the life you desire, look for signs of what you’re creating.

6. Actively pursue more of what brings you joy

Practice self-love and go in pursuit of what brings you joy. If you find joy in nature, then make it a regular habit to go out in nature. Writing makes me happy so I write in the morning and it sets the tone for my day.

7. Decide to let go of what others think of you.

Criticism stops people from achieving their goals. Learn to brush off criticism. We often make choices based on other people’s expectations of us or to avoid criticism. Both of these can hinder us from changing our self-concept.

8. Place affirmations and mantras everywhere

Saturate your mind consciously and subconsciously with images and words of what we are hoping to achieve. Create a vision board or place sticky notes all over your home with a list of what you desire.

9. Find things to be grateful for

Gratitude changes the chemistry and rewires your brain. If you want to attract the life you desire, be in a state of gratitude.

As Wayne Dyer said, “Change the way you see things and the things you see will change.”

10. Meditate daily

Studies show that people who meditated over eight weeks had experienced a change in the expression of 172 genes that regulate inflammation, circadian rhythms, glucose metabolism and a reduction in blood pressure.

Meditation allows you to manage your internal world in alignment with the external reality you desire. Mediation helps you slow down your automatic responses to negative situations, pivot to more empowering beliefs and focus on your desired outcome.
