1.The Hulk in “The Avengers”

Edward Norton who played The Hulk in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk left the MCU due to disagreements during negotiations for The Avengers. Marvel cited a need for an actor embodying collaboration which led to Mark Ruffalo’s casting and a swift rebuttal from Norton who accused the studio of “purposefully” painting him in a negative light.
2. Meg in “Family Guy”

Mean Girls star Lacey Chabert was the voice of Meg for the first season before leaving due to other obligations and being replaced by Friends with Benefits star Mila Kunis who became known for the character.
3. Grindelwald in “Fantastic Beasts”

Johnny Depp’s public legal battle with Amber Heard resulted in tons of negative press due to the severity of the domestic abuse case. It also resulted in him getting fired from the Fantastic Beasts franchise. Mads Mikkelsen replaced Depp as Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Grindelwald.
4. Dumbledore in “Harry Potter”

Albus Dumbledore was played by Richard Harris in the first two Harry Potter movies. After he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, things took a turn for the worst and Harris died at the age of 72. He was replaced by Michael Gambon.

Katie Holmes played Rachel Dawes in Batman Begins, who was a big part of the storyline and a main character in Bruce Wayne’s life. She did not accept the role for the sequel, so Holmes was then replaced by Maggie Gyllenhaal.
8. Quicksilver/Pietro in “WandaVision”

Evan Peters replaced Aaron Taylor Johnson in Marvel’s WandaVision as Quick Silver, despite the character having been played by Johnson in past installments.
9. Victoria in “Twilight”

In The Twilight saga Victoria is played by Rachelle Lefevre in the first two films. However, Argylle star Bryce Dallas Howard replaced her in the third film Eclipse.

Terence Howard who had a three-picture deal with Marvel Studios, left after salary disputes for the Iron Man sequel. Don Cheadle replaced him, leading to tensions between the studio and Howard.
