1% Better Every Day: How to Turn Your Life Around In A Year

Photo by Karsten Winegeart on Unsplash

Some days I enjoy working so much that I would do all-nighters. But, there are days when I want to stay in bed until 10.

But I don’t like it that way. I need a structure, a routine to feel in charge of my life.

That’s why I’ve carefully planned my day in a way that I get at least 1% closer to my dreams every day.

Small daily improvements over time lead to stunning results

Since I read his book 5 Am Club, I have lived by that motto.

But that doesn’t mean that my progress is linear in any way. There were times I neglected:

  • Consistency
  • Learning
  • Correcting mistakes
  • Or worked without a clear plan

And that’s a part of the process.

Those were the days I felt unmotivated to do the work and felt the temptation to give up. But I gave my best anyway.

Creating success and adopting a growth mindset take time. The best shortcut is to take small steps every day.

Let’s do this!

Find:

  • 1 daily action
  • 1 daily learning

To get you closer to your goal.

Let’s say that you would like to learn to play chess.

  • Your daily action is to play 10 games online
  • Your daily learning is to study your openings for 30 minutes

That’s how you’ll be enhancing your chess consistently.

You might say that 1% a day is not much.

But let me tell you something.

After 1 year of 1% daily progress, the results will compound, so you’ll improve by 3700%

A lot, right?

That’s how you become a master of your craft!

So pick:

  • 1 to learn
  • 1 to do

Activity and commit to it!

Your results will astonish you!

But don’t copy millionaires’ habits thinking that you should do the same things. They’re on a different level of success.

Stay true to your current abilities and work up from there!

Let me know in the comments; which to learn & to do task will you choose.

Can’t wait to read your response!

Keep following your purpose!
