1,420,092,000 Seconds of Me
That’s 45 years of life

In seconds measured, my life unfolds,
A tale untold, in moments, it holds
Just decades of seconds, that’s all so far,
With each passing heartbeat my life, like a
star.
To have faced life’s storms, where my
troubles collided,
My seconds etched tales,
Where intense emotions resided.

Now as the clock ticks on at the seams of
my years,
There’s sweet success amid salty tears.
In love’s embrace, where seconds stand
still,
Hope’s timeless dance, the heart’s sweet,
sweet thrill.
Now the Seconds pass quickly like nature’s
easy breeze,
Memories of winters past, days like calm
serene seas.
Scorching old summers now etched within,
Many years of memories imprinted within
my skin.
For within this world, I find my place,
1,420,092,000 seconds of me,
A hopeful lifetime to face.
In a heartbeat of seconds, my life was on display,
Within the cogs of time, I will find my way.

I wrote this poem when I lost sight of who I
was. Sometimes we all lose ourselves and
struggle to find our path. When the clouds
grow darker, just look at the many seconds
of you now and look how far you’ve come.
Your life is yours and yours to live. Be you.
Be happy and above all be true to yourself.
After all, you are beautiful.
