We all know the saying ‘’ Patience is a virtue.’’
I never understood the concept. As a 24-year-old entrepreneur, I want everything yesterday. I want to have all the contacts, the full-time 8-figure laptop lifestyle broadcasted left, right, and center in social media.
I had a good conversation today with a woman that started her own coaching business.
I asked her how she did it & without hesitation, the very first thing she told me was ‘’ Be Patient’’.
We live in such a fast-paced era that it seems that 0-to-100 is real.
It isn’t.
Malcolm Gladwell wrote in his bestseller Outliers: Story of Success that it takes an average of 10000 hours for someone to become an expert.
Of course, this is an over-simplification of many things, but the time principle is what’s important here.
I should not be impatient in my endeavors, because is the process that makes the success worthwhile.
This is a little message for people that, like me, have all many things that they are working on. I say to you, be patient and enjoy the process.
Remember that it is the EFFORT that makes the PROCESS so worthwhile.
